Instinct Chapter 33. Win. # Back then, I had thought that was it. For the longest time, I was told my training was to prepare me for The Game. The real Game, where you fought to the death. I thought I understood what that meant # Individual events were easy to remember, but somehow, the days they occurred on all merged together. Eventually, an hour and a half or so of some of those days was spent with a martial arts instructor. The Trainer would come to my room, lead me out, and take me down the hall. I expected to be lead to the Lift, as always, but the Trainer stopped at one of the doors in thInstinct Chapter 3

Instinct Chapter 22. Demonstrate. # I might as well mention that the very first time was different. I was taken out of my room and shoved into the Lift. The Trainers nudge was accompanied by one terse word: Demonstrate. I didnt know what it meant, but before I could ask I was shut in the Lift. I know what it means now - It means that when the Lift opens, I walk out. I survey the Opponent, and then we play for fun. That is, we dont finish the game we dont win Both opponents can play again, later.Instinct Chapter 2
When the lift opened, I didnt move. A second passed. The floo

Instinct Chapter 11. What it had no choice in doing # I watched the light as it flickered past me. The light seeped in through cracks slits in the door every few seconds: the cracks would become glowing lines, as the light, pouring through, flooded and lit the glassy material filling the slits. The Lift was small, but big enough so that I could comfortably stretch out on the floor, presuming I leaned my head against the wall. There was a dull sensation of excitement. Oh, so very dull. There was never nervousness or involvement anymore. I could remember the days when that was not the case. When the thought of being led to play ThInstinct Chapter 1

At any rate, I must say I feel the same interest in regards to how this matter works out for you.
P.S. Thanks for the favorite and the watch.
Publishing, I feel, will be a paltry challenge compared to the arduous struggle to get these thoughts and ideas down on paper in a coherent and finished way.

Frankly, in a way I agree with you when it comes to the matter of publishing being a rather insignificant obstacle in comparison to the actual writing - however, simultaneously, I suspect that while my knowledge of legal workings and the publishing industry as a whole is rather decent, I lack what can be called expertise in the matter, hence, personally, I feel more anxiety about that then the current writing process. Because while writing may be slow, unsteady, and requiring much revision, at least that is a field I can consider one of my strengths. Navigating the publishing world and making sure I don't get the screwed over in the process, so to speak, seems to me a task I am more likely to fail at than the writing itself, which, though time consuming and at times frustrating, is nevertheless something I am fully aware I can do.
At any rate, I've got two book projects as well, and for the exact same reason! Though, like yours, my other one has been sort of put on the shelf for the time being. It is a much more daunting prospect than this first one, Legend of DeLis. I should start reading what you've got up for Instinct. Maybe we could help each other out.
Let me know.
